Piendibene - The "Maestro" Piendi blonde and lanky with a British appearance, he was the first master of Uruguayan football.
On July 18, 1926, Deportivo Espanol of Barcelona played against Penarol, and more than 40,000 people watched the duel between the "imperforable" Ricardo Zamora and the "Maestro". After outwitting the center backs and feinting Zamora on the right, Jose finished with a slap shot in the direction of the other post, making the goalkeeper's stretch sterile, while the ball slowly entered the goal to give the victory to Uruguayans.

Jager - In the book "Altona 93 - 111 league years in ups and downs" Norbert Carsten lovingly describes Jager: "Adolf is basically a very cheerful and fun-loving person, but he is as talkative as a goal post ... Only after the fourth drink he does start to push the glasses around on the table: 'You have to play like this, like this, and like that." After a convivial evening, he usually says goodbye with the words: 'We'll stay the same.'"
On November 21, 1944 he and a medical team rushed to the banks of the Elbe in Altona, where an underground bunker had been buried after a bomb attack. An unexploded bomb exploded and killed him.
